Skip to main contentThe Carrboro Songwriters Festival returns Oct. 16-18, 2026, for three days of Nashville-style songwriter rounds featuring 27 songwriters a day, from noon-8 p.m. daily, at Speakeasy Theatre, Steel String Brewery and other locations in downtown Carrboro.
Don’t miss “Tall Tales & Cheap Ales,” a free songwriters panel on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Speakeasy Theatre. The panel features five highly suspicious local songwriters — Ted Johnson, The King Teen, Kate Bopp, John Pardoe and Dr. Scott — and one remarkable moderator, Bridget Dean.
